My last, my baby, Corbett
Around him my life did orbit.
Five years younger than the rest,
I spoiled him rotten with zest!

To lean on my chest, he came every morning
And there he would quietly rest till adorning,
His cheerful good humor and light heart,
The rest of the day his manipulations to impart.

His brother and sisters, they wanted him, to throttle
But he'd run to Mom for him she would coddle.
Mischief aplenty he would find
And his self defense was totally refined.

Now he's a dad with a Corbett of his own
And that little one to grandma is known.
As cute as he is he's full of eagerness
And will face life with his dad's vivaciousness.

A virtuous woman my son found,
To help him keep his feet on the ground.
They gave us two grandchildren
Cute as kittens to make us grin.

A son to inspire
A mother's desire,
To be the best Mom she can
And raise a true man.
