I come for your pearls of wisdom.
I praise you for mercy and grace.
I thank you for all that you've given;
And I stay with a smile on my face.
I cry for the times I have hurt you.
I thank you for being so kind.
I praise you for all that you can do;
And I stay with complete peace of mind.
I ask that you protect my family;
And keep them all right by your side.
Make sure that they see what they can be;
And know that your in for the ride.
I love you with all of my heart Lord,
and I'm grateful for all that you've done.
I'll stand by your side with a drawn sword;
And fight 'till our future is won.
